Our History

The Hallett family is truly an old Cape Cod family with geneology reaching into the Higgins, Sears, Crowell and Doane families. Our history is steeped in sea captains and cranberry growers, town officials and duck pickers. Cape Cod has been our home for generations and we care deeply about our roots and the place we choose to live. We have been brought up to be loyal and caring, honest and trustworthy, hardworking and conscientious. It is therefore natural that we are dedicated to providing the best personal and most competent service to the families of our very own community.

Hallett Funeral Home is an independent family owned funeral home, opened in 1959 by Norman A. Hallett and since 1977 has been owned and operated by his daughters, Faith A. Hallett and Frances H. Webb. Our facility has been renovated and enlarged to accomodate our growing population and the picturesque building and grounds are conveniently located to serve central Cape Cod with easy access to area churches and Route 6.

Our genuine desire is to assist you in every possible way. We strive to meet the highest standards in funeral service and conduct ourselves in a professional and caring manner. We have a special responsibility to those we serve to make a difficult time as easy as possible. We will help with the many decisions you face in providing a lasting, meaningful and memorable service for your loved one.
